서비스 종료 2차 안내

안녕하세요.
세계인터넷선교협의회 Society for World Internet Mission(SWIM)입니다.

Second Notice of Service Termination

Dear subscribers,
This is the Society for World Internet Mission (SWIM).
As previously announced, all Bible meditation services provided by Duranno through our platform will be discontinued as of March 31, 2025.
This decision was made at the request of Duranno, the content provider, as they plan to consolidate all Bible meditation content—including Korean Living Life, English Living Life, Japanese Living Life, Jesus Loves Me, and Saebyeoknara (Morning Nation)—under their own platform, DuPlus.
Over the years, SWIM has been honored to provide this meditation service, forming meaningful connections with many subscribers. We deeply regret any inconvenience this termination may cause.
We encourage all subscribers to continue using Duranno’s DuPlus meditation platform via their app/website (www.du.plus).
We sincerely appreciate your support of SWIM’s meditation service.

Sincerely,
Young-soo Jun, Chairman of the Board
Society for World Internet Mission (SWIM)

Numbers 3:40 - 3:51
40. The LORD said to Moses, "Count all the firstborn Israelite males who are a month old or more and make a list of their names.
41. Take the Levites for me in place of all the firstborn of the Israelites, and the livestock of the Levites in place of all the firstborn of the livestock of the Israelites. I am the LORD."
42. So Moses counted all the firstborn of the Israelites, as the LORD commanded him.
43. The total number of firstborn males a month old or more, listed by name, was 22,273.
44. The LORD also said to Moses,
45. "Take the Levites in place of all the firstborn of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites in place of their livestock. The Levites are to be mine. I am the LORD.
46. To redeem the 273 firstborn Israelites who exceed the number of the Levites,
47. collect five shekels for each one, according to the sanctuary shekel, which weighs twenty gerahs.
48. Give the money for the redemption of the additional Israelites to Aaron and his sons."
49. So Moses collected the redemption money from those who exceeded the number redeemed by the Levites.
50. From the firstborn of the Israelites he collected silver weighing 1,365 shekels, according to the sanctuary shekel.
51. Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and his sons, as he was commanded by the word of the LORD.
Reflection
The Firstborn and the Ransom (3:40–48)
The place of firstborn represents the first and best of God’s blessings among His people. Because of this, every firstborn is to be dedicated and given to the Lord. The firstborn from among the flocks and herds are given in sacrifice. Firstborn male children, however, are not offered as sacrifices. Instead they are redeemed by the Levites, who belong to the Lord and are devoted to His service. Since the number of firstborn males exceeds the number of Levites, they are redeemed with a specific redemption price. Ultimately, this practice points us to the ministry of Jesus, the one the New Testament calls the firstborn of God (Heb. 1:6), who gave His life as a ransom for us.

Giving and Spiritual Growth (3:49–51)
Just as all of Israel’s people and possessions belong to God, so, too, all we have belongs to him. This is why the giving of our time, wealth, and other aspects of our lives is so intimately connected to our faith and spiritual growth. As we give a portion of these things to God, we can be certain that He will honor our sacrifice. He will return to us more than we can possibly think or imagine. To fail to sacrificially give is to miss out on God’s plans and blessings on our lives. Even worse, refusing to give for the edification of God’s people causes us to become spiritually stagnant and unfruitful.
Application
- In light of this passage, consider the blessings God has given you, and how you might use them to serve Him. Why is sacrifice so vital in the Christian life?

- How has God used what you have given in His service recently? Ask for more opportunities to sacrificially give of your time and possessions to make Him known.
A Letter to God
Lord Jesus, You gave Yourself unreservedly and completely for me. I am humbled by the price You willingly paid. May my life be a sacrifice of all I am, have, and hope to be in the service of Your kingdom. In Your name, I pray, amen.
